Being part of the IE community is more than just being an alumnus; it's being a part of a global network of people sharing a set of common goals, and ethical values. This network is comprised of your classmates, alumni from other courses and your professors.
One of the greatest advantages of participating in a masters program at IE is its multicultural student body. Participants come from all over the world and from a variety of different functions and industries. Throughout the Global MBA Online you will work with your classmates online, through video conferences, as well as face to face during the Integration Days, fostering the relationships that become the foundation of your IE network. After graduation, IE contacts frequently become workmates, friends, advisors or even business partners!
In addition to your classmates, meet and interact with more than 300,000 IE graduates from almost 100 different countries through the ¨Alumni Association¨. The association organizes IE clubs in many cities around the world, seminars and a yearly conference in Madrid, all of which provide excellent networking opportunities.
The highly qualified faculty comes from an equally diverse background as the student body, and is available to help and offer advice on business projects even after graduation.
During your time at IE Business School, you will have the opportunity to build up a network of contacts within the school. Your classmates will become contacts for the future each of them with their own experiences prior to beginning the MBA. Your professors, with their vast experience, will provide you with a further network of professional contacts many of whom will themselves be IE alumni.
In addition, IE Business School runs a number of centers dedicated to research and development in key areas of international business that are closely linked to the real needs and specific demands of the business world. You can also collaborate in a number of global initiatives and projects, which IE leads or takes part in, covering a host of sectors and issues including Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability, and Strategy.
In addition, the IE Communities platform is a network of virtual communities that promote the development of your international network and share theoretical and practical knowledge of sectors, functional areas and geographic regions. You can visit the IE Communites here: communities.ie.edu
