The Global MBA Online program from IE Business School provides all the ingredients for professional success in international business management and entrepreneurship without requiring participants to take a break from there careers.

The program runs for 15 months and combines video conference classes (with two time options, Saturday morning at 11:00 and 13:00 or Saturday afternoons at 16:00 and 18:00 Madrid time), asynchronous sessions and short residential periods.

Program Timeline

Duration

The Global MBA Online program has a total duration of 15 months. Throughout the program two subjects are studied at a time, meaning that the time dedicated each week is less than for a full time MBA. This reduced workload, approximately 20 hours per week, facilitates the possibility to study while working full time as well as bestowing upon students the time for personal commitments.

The Global MBA Online covers exactly the same subjects and training objectives as any other IE MBA program, with the lessened weekly workload, compensated with the longer duration of the course.

Structure

The program commences with an opening week aimed at familiarizing students with the online campus and the fundamentals of studying online. The program includes several holiday periods, August, Christmas and Easter, as well as two residential periods, one week at the beginning of the course and the final week of the program.

Each week, two subjects are studied simultaneously.

The Global MBA Online program is designed to improve the management skills of students allowing them to successfully manage the complex problems faced in today’s global business environment.

Students will receive the solid grounds in the most innovative business management techniques with a special emphasis on new technologies.
